These extra-large XL glass gems are a beautiful example of craftsmanship, lovingly made by a glassmaker in Mexico. They are made from recycled glass and coloured with natural oxides and minerals. Thanks to the use of a linear kiln, they take on their characteristic shape: semi-rounded glass drops with a domed top and flat base.
Each drop is unique and shaped by hand, resulting in natural variation in colour, form and size. They measure between 30 and 38 mm in diameter, with an average thickness of approximately 12 mm. Because they are handmade, they are not perfectly round—something that adds to their charm and organic appeal.
